Community at The Tara Building is built into how the space works. From shared kitchens to monthly events, the building is designed to create easy, natural moments for connection alongside focused work.
Connection here is optional, low-pressure, and part of everyday life. The building is largely open plan, with shared spaces that naturally bring people together. Downstairs, the kitchen and bar area often becomes a meeting point for shared lunches or quick breaks, with nearby breakout spaces making room for more informal conversations. Upstairs, the kitchen offers space to cook and chat, while the rooftop becomes a perfect place to gather in the summer months.
Alongside the physical space, our monthly events programme helps shape a sense of community over time. Talks, workshops and social moments give members opportunities to connect beyond their desks, get to know one another, and share ideas.
As a coworking space in Dublin, The Tara Building is first and foremost a place to work. Community supports that work by making the building feel welcoming, familiar and human. We aim to be a space where people feel comfortable showing up, settling in, and staying connected.
