This website is owned and operated by: The Tara Building Ltd with a postal address at 11-15 Tara Street, Dublin 2, D02 RY83.

By using our website, which includes access through other digital platforms, you confirm that you accept these Terms of Service (“terms”) as binding upon you, including additional terms and conditions and policies referenced herein and/or available by hyperlink, and that you agree to comply with them. If you do not agree to these terms, you must not use our website.

Before purchasing and availing of any product or service from The Tara Building, you must accept the Terms and Conditions which will be presented to you when creating an account on www.thetarabuilding.spaces.nexudus.com. While availing of our services, you must comply with our House Rules. A copy of these Terms and Conditions and House Rules can be requested from hello@thetarabuilding.com.

How The Tara Building Ltd Works with Clients

Hours of work

The Tara Building Ltd team works from Monday-Friday. The reception hours are 8.30am to 5pm. The building is accessible 24 hours a day, but the reception will only be open at the above hours.

Contacting The Tara Building Ltd

The Tara Building Ltd respects that everyone uses different platforms and works different hours. They will review all emails daily and respond to any queries within 24/48 hours Monday to Friday. Any correspondence received through mobile, social media and other platforms will be acknowledged and responded to within 48 hours.

Storing Personal Data

The Tara Building Ltd works in a variety of ways with clients. The Tara Building Ltd respects confidentiality, transparency, and privacy. The client always has access to their records and can request copies of same under a Data Subject Access Request. Please note that this request should be sent to: hello@thetarabuilding.com.

Client Details

Please note that any stored phone numbers or emails will be deleted from The Tara Building Ltd systems seven years after the membership has ended. Any general enquiries will be deleted after 12 months if they do not become a member or client

Non-Competition

The informative materials supplied by The Tara Building Ltd (including all promotional brochures and content supplied at workshops and events) are of a confidential nature. From time to time, The Tara Building Ltd may use examples of work they have created or businesses that they have worked with to illustrate informative points. Any attempt by the client to enter the markets that The Tara Building Ltd operates in after gaining possession of such informative materials will be classed as entering into competition with The Tara Building Ltd.

Solicit or Offer Employment:

While this agreement is in force and for a period of six months after it ends, neither we nor you may knowingly solicit or offer employment to any of the other & staff employed in The Tara Building. This obligation applies to any employee employed at The Tara Building up to that employee & termination of employment and for three months thereafter. It is stipulated that the breaching party shall pay the non-breaching party the equivalent of one year’s salary for any employee concerned. Nothing in this clause shall prevent either party from employing an individual who responds in good faith and independently to an advertisement which is made to the public at large.

Confidentiality

Confidentiality is an essential part of all our services and The Tara Building Ltd will always operate to the highest standard of security and confidentiality.

Protection of Intellectual Property

All materials supplied by The Tara Building Ltd (including all website content and content supplied at workshops and seminars) are of a confidential nature. From time to time, The Tara Building Ltd may use examples of work they have created or businesses that have worked with to illustrate educative points. Any attempt by the Customer to enter the markets that The Tara Building Ltd operates in after gaining possession of such educative materials will be classed as entering competition with The Tara Building Ltd.

Cancellations

The Tara Building operates on a credit-on-account basis, whereby a refund will only be issued in the event that the money has been taken in error by us. or a third party provider operating on its behalf. does not offer refunds only in exceptional circumstances and at the discretion of management. Dog Friendly Office

The Tara Building is a dog-friendly coworking space. We only ask that dog owners using the coworking facilities remain on the ground floor, so fellow coworkers who aren’t so keen on animals can have a safe space to work upstairs. Please note that The Tara Building cannot accept responsibility for any harm that may befall the dog or any member because of the dog’s actions. All dogs must be suitably trained, including toileting, interacting with other people and animals we have onsite, and we expect any dog to be attended to at all times and are not allowed to roam freely.

Legal Advice

The Tara Building Ltd reserves the right to consult with their legal advisors in all cases of Court orders for access to personal records and/or all other information requests.
Where other names have been mentioned through the course of the sessions with The Tara Building Ltd then they reserve the right to redact these names on all shared documentation.

The Different Services The Tara Building Offers

The Tara Building works in a variety of different ways, and we have divided these into categories for transparency and ease of access.

Before purchasing and availing of any product or service from The Tara Building, you must accept the Terms and Conditions which will be presented to you when creating an account on www.thetarabuilding.spaces.nexudus.com. While availing of our services, you must comply with our House Rules. A copy of these Terms and Conditions and House Rules can be requested from hello@thetarabuilding.com.

When you sign up to an agreement, you note that this creates no tenancy interest, leasehold estate or other real property interest in your favour with respect to the service/accommodation.

Coworking

  • A membership does not constitute a lease or sublease but is only a licence to use the workspace. It creates no tenancy interest and as such, members cannot not make any claim of tenancy in respect of the workspace.
  • We are unable to accommodate suspending or freezing memberships for any length of time.
  • Memberships are based on a per-person fee and cannot be shared or transferred to anyone else.
  • Our coworking floors have floating (non-assigned) seating, which means you must not leave your belongings overnight. Fines of €20 apply for belongings left behind in excess of three times.
  • Hot desks cannot be reserved for individuals or groups of coworkers.
  • There are 11 phone booths available for individual calls and video meetings, free of charge. Phone booths are a shared resource and are intended for short-term use only (no more than 1 hour at a time). We ask all members to refrain from using them for prolonged periods. Calls cannot be taken at hot desks.
  • All members and guests have the right to focus and enjoy a quiet workspace. Noise levels must be kept to a minimum in respect of other coworkers and staff members. Any behaviour that breaches this will not be condoned.
  • Hot desks are primarily for working and should not be used for eating. Please make use of the kitchens for breakfast and lunch.
  • Members agree to only use The Tara Building for the purposes for which it is intended and to leave it in the condition in which the member found it.
  • Lockers are available to rent at an additional cost on a monthly basis for storing personal belongings. The locker room should be kept tidy and free of personal belongings. Items left outside the lockers will be removed on a weekly basis and penalties may apply for repeated breaches.
  • Monitors are available to rent for an additional cost and should be returned to reception at the end of the day.
  • Damage to any furniture or equipment will be charged to the member.
  • Printing and administrative services are available upon request at an additional fee.
  • While we offer 24/7 access to our members, an alarm is set every night for security purposes. Members must follow our security protocol during these times. ​Failure​ ​to do​ ​so​ ​will​ ​activate​ ​our​ ​alarm​ ​system​ ​and​ ​result​ ​in​ ​a​ ​call-out​ ​fee​ ​being debited​ ​to​ ​your​ ​account.

Coworking | Full-Time Members:

  • Full-time members must pay a deposit of €150 + VAT and sign a licence agreement to register with The Tara Building. The deposit will be held by us as a security measure and will be refunded to you within 30 days after you have settled your account with us, including any outstanding balances owed.
  • Full-time members are allocated 2 hours free meeting room credit monthly. Thereafter, meeting rooms can be booked at a rate of €30 + VAT per hour.
  • We require 30 days written/email cancellation notice on full-time memberships. Cancelling with less than the minimum notice may forfeit your deposit.

Coworking | Day Pass Members:

  • All day passes expire 30 days after you purchase them.
  • Each day pass is only valid on one calendar day. The pass is activated when you enter the building and expires at midnight that night. You can’t split a day pass across two days.
  • With our team billing service, your coworkers can each have their own individual memberships under one streamlined team invoice at the end of each month. Full flexibility for your team, without the hassle of individual expensing each month.
  • Our day passes, and day pass bundles operate on a per-person basis. Passes and bundles can’t be shared among a group. You can, however, join as a group and pay together – just ask us at reception and we’ll organize whatever invoices you need for your company.

Virtual Office

  • Virtual office members may use The Tara Building as their registered business address
  • Postal mail can be received in your name/company name at our address. We will notify you by email when mail arrives.
  • Virtual office members can opt to have their mail scanned and forwarded to them or alternatively, it can be held for you for collection during reception hours (Monday to Friday, 8.30am – 5pm).
  • We cannot facilitate physically post forwarding mail to another address.

Meeting Rooms

  • Meeting rooms must only be used for the purposes of which they are intended and are to be left in the condition in which you found it.
  • You will be liable to The Tara Building for any expenditure we are required to incur as a result of your leaving the meeting space or any equipment in disrepair or in an unreasonable state of cleanliness or for any other damage you or your guests cause whilst in the meeting space or building.
  • Subletting of meeting rooms is not permitted.
  • You are responsible for maintaining proper order, and observing fire, safety and security regulations.

Meeting Rooms | Member Bookings (Internal):

  • Regular coworking members (except for 1 day pass members) can book meeting rooms at a reduced rate.

Meeting Rooms | Non-Member Bookings (External):

  • Payment is required in advance to secure your booking.
  • Our minimum booking is 1 hour, with discounted rates for half or full day rentals. We can accommodate bookings (including multi-day rentals) Monday to Sunday, pending on availability.
  • A full refund will be issued when written cancellation is received 72 hours before the booking. A refund of 50% will be given to written cancellations between 72 and 24 hours before the booking. Unfortunately, we cannot issue refunds for cancellations of less than 24 hours’ notice or for any catering arranged.
  • Earth Meeting Room is fully accessible, located on the ground floor with a wide entrance and accessible toilets. Please let us know your accessibility requirements when booking the room.
  • We can provide catering at an additional cost i.e. pastries in the morning and a selection of sandwiches for lunch. Please allow 3 days notice for us to complete any requests for this.

Private Offices
Private Offices | Long Terms Rentals:

  • The rental fee and any recurring services requested by you are payable on the 1st of each month. Payment can be made via direct debit or bank transfer.
  • While we offer 24/7 access to our members, there is an alarm set every night from 12:30-5:30 am. You will need to follow our security alarm protocol to enter or leave the building during these times. Failure to do so will activate our alarm system and result in a call-out fee being debited to your account.
  • Your tenancy includes a select amount of free meeting room credit monthly. Meeting room credit is shared across all team members. Any additional hours will be charged at a reduced member rate.
  • Meeting rooms can be booked through your account at www.thetarabuilding.spaces.nexudus.com or on The Tara Building app.
  • We require at least two months’ written (email) notice to end your office tenancy at The Tara Building. When there is mutual agreement by both parties, this end date can be extended.
  • If ending your tenancy at The Tara Building, we will need to charge an Office Restoration Service fee to help cover cleaning, painting and returning the office to its original state. Tenants of 12 months or over will be charged up to 10% of their monthly rent.
  • Any additional employees or clients of yours that wish to cowork from The Tara Building for the day (as opposed to working within your private office) will need to purchase a day pass. These can be added to your monthly invoice if needed, just email: hello@thetarabuilding.com with the relevant details and we will arrange it for you.
  • Coworking memberships are based on a per person fee and cannot be shared. Hot desks cannot be reserved for individuals or groups of coworkers.
  • We are unable to accommodate suspending or freezing memberships for any length of time.
  • The Tara Building may need to enter your office and may do so at any time. However, unless there is an emergency, The Tara Building will attempt to notify the Client verbally or electronically in advance.
  • In the event that The Tara Building are permanently unable to provide the products and services stated in this agreement or if The Tara Building are required to return vacant possession of the building to the owner, then this agreement will end and you will only have to pay membership fees up to the date it ends and for the additional services you have used.

Private Offices | Daily/Weekly Rentals

  • The Tara Building also offer daily and weekly office rentals depending on current availability. The following conditions apply:
  • The Client may only have access to the designated private office and communal areas during the specific hours and date stated within the booking.
  • The Client agrees to only use the day/weekly office for the purposes for which it is intended and to leave it in the condition in which the Client found it.
  • Damage to any furniture or equipment will be charged to the Client.
  • Subletting of the day/weekly office is not permitted.
  • Printing and administrative services are available upon request at an additional fee
  • The Client will not defame, abuse, harass, stalk, threaten or otherwise violate the legal rights of others. It is understood that noise levels must be kept to a minimum is respect of other The Tara Building coworking members and staff.
  • The Tara Building allows the Client access to self-service coffee, tea, craft beer, and fruit. All beverage and fruit provisions are based on fair usage, should it be deemed that if a Client is using any facilities excessively then an additional charge may be levied by The Tara Building.
  • All furniture must be in its original position as set out by The Tara Building. The Client is not permitted to move any furniture within the booked office space or any furniture in the building without consent from The Tara Building. If the Client is in breach of this requirement a restoration fee will apply.
  • We may need to enter the Client’s day office and may do so at any time. However, unless there is an emergency, The Tara Building will attempt to notify the Client verbally or electronically in advance.

Events

The Tara Building hold various creativity, wellbeing, business-focused, and social events for members and also at times for the public to attend. These events can include an eclectic mix such as breathwork, workshops, live music sessions, coffee mornings, CreativeMorning talks, Christmas parties etc. We will publicise our member events on Nexudus, which is our member communication platform. Public events, and some member events, will be publicised across social media and various platforms. All our events are governed by the following:

  • All attendees should be respectful, courteous and professional. Any reports of verbal or physical abuse, harassment of a sexual or discriminatory nature will not be tolerated.
  • Alcohol may be available at some events. Attendees should consume alcohol responsibly and remember to show due consideration to their fellow members and the public. Drunk and/or disorderly behaviour and illegal drug taking will not be tolerated.
  • If you do not wish for your photo to be taken/shared on our platforms please advise a member of staff.
  • If your guest attends an event at The Tara Building, please advise them of the general guidelines and health and safety aspects of the building.
  • The Tara Building reserved the right to refuse admission.
  • The Tara Building may need to cancel an event due to unforeseen circumstances and this will be communicated to all parties either over email or on our social media platforms.

The Tara Building Ltd Terms & Conditions of Service

Contract of Sale

When you order services from us, the terms in force at the time of your order will apply as the contract of sale between you and us. This contract of sale begins to be formed between us when we issue an invoice. You shall only become the full owner of the service once we have received full payment for it.

Indemnification, Liability, and Limitation

The express terms and conditions of these terms shall apply in place of all warranties, conditions, terms, representations, statements, undertakings and obligations whether expressed or implied by statute, common law, custom, usage or otherwise, all of which are excluded to the fullest extent permitted by law. Insofar as it is lawful to do so, we do not accept liability of any description including liability for negligence or any damages whatsoever arising out of or in connection with the viewing, use or performance of this website or its contents. In the event that you reproduce, display, transmit, distribute or otherwise exploit the structure, information, material, or any portion thereof, in any manner not authorised by us, or if you otherwise infringe any intellectual property rights relating to the structure, information, photographs, prints or this website, you unconditionally and irrevocably agree to indemnify us and keep us indemnified from and against any and all losses, expenses, costs or damages, including reasonable lawyers’ fees, incurred by you or others as a result of unauthorised use of the above and/or your breach of these terms. You unconditionally and irrevocably agree to indemnify us and keep us indemnified from and against all and any losses, costs, claims, liabilities, damages, demands and expenses suffered or incurred by us and arising from any claim brought by any third party against us howsoever arising from or in connection with: these terms; the supply of the services and/or digital goods pursuant to the terms; your use of the services and/or digital goods; or your fraud or negligence. For the avoidance of doubt, we will under no circumstances whatsoever be liable to you, whether in contract, tort (including negligence), breach of statutory duty, or otherwise, arising under or in connection with these terms for any loss of profits, goodwill, sales, business, or revenue; loss or corruption of data, information or software; loss of business opportunity or anticipated savings; or any indirect or consequential loss. Without prejudice to other clauses in these terms, our total liability arising under or in connection with these terms, whether arising in contract, tort (including negligence) or restitution, or for breach of statutory duty or misrepresentation, or otherwise, shall in all circumstances be limited to the purchase price paid for the relevant services that is/are the subject of a claim.

Errors, Inaccuracies and Omissions

Occasionally there may be information on our website that contains typographical errors, inaccuracies or omissions that may relate to product descriptions, pricing, promotions, offers, product shipping charges, transit times and availability. We reserve the right to correct any errors, inaccuracies or omissions, and to change or update information or cancel orders if any information on the website or on any related website is inaccurate at any time without prior notice (including after you have submitted your order). We undertake no obligation to update, amend or clarify information on the website or on any related website, including without limitation, pricing information, except as required by law. Sales of Services

If you are not a consumer, you confirm that you have authority to bind any organisation on whose behalf you use our site to purchase services. All descriptions of products or product pricing are subject to change at any time without notice, at our sole discretion. Prices for our services are subject to change without notice. We reserve the right at any time to modify or discontinue our services on our website (or any part or content thereof) without notice at any time. We shall not be liable to you or to any third-party for any modification, price change, suspension, or discontinuance of such.

Refunds

We conform to Irish and EU law and regulations for the purposes of whether or not to accept returns. We deal with cases as they happen on an individual basis. We encourage you to contact us as soon as possible after delivery should you discover a fault or defect in the services or digital goods. Please read our terms for cancellation and terminations earlier in this document.

Social Media Platforms

Communication, engagement, and actions taken through external social media platforms that we participate on are custom to the terms as well as the data protection and privacy policies and notices held with each social media platform respectively. You are advised to use social media platforms wisely and communicate/engage upon them with due care and caution regarding your own privacy and personal details. We will never ask for personal or sensitive information through social media platforms and encourage you when wishing to discuss sensitive details to contact us through primary communication channels such as by telephone or email.

Data Protection, Privacy and Security

Your rights to data protection and privacy, including security over data, are very important to us. We treat personal data obtained using this website as private and are committed to providing you with secure access to our online service. This website processes information from you as per our Privacy Statement. Governing Law and Disputes

This website is hosted, controlled, and operated from the Republic of Ireland and therefore governed by Irish law, subject to the terms of Public International Law. We reserve the right to make changes to this website, these terms, and the other information contained in this website at any time and without notice. Please refer to these terms when you visit the website as they may change from time to time.

Severability

In the event that any provision of these terms is determined to be unlawful, void or unenforceable, such provision shall nonetheless be enforceable to the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, and the unenforceable portion shall be deemed to be severed from these terms, such determination shall not affect the validity and enforceability of any other remaining provisions.

Waiver

The failure of us to exercise or enforce any right or provision of these terms shall not constitute a waiver of such right or provision.
