🌀 Please tell us about yourself, and the work you do:

I’m Cat, a photographer, filmmaker and educator from Dublin who just moved home after 14 years living abroad in Iceland, Norway and the UK. I work with commercial brands like Jameson, Dropbox and Adobe and also take portraits of business owners, entrepreneurs and creatives – I’m really passionate about working with people going for what they really want to do in life! I also spent a few months last year working as a photographer and filmmaker on an expedition ship going from Greenland to Antarctica. My other love is music – I shoot concerts and portraits of musicians as well as being a musician and dancer myself.

🌀 What’s your favourite thing about working from The Tara Building?
The people! I started coming to Tara 3 years ago while still living abroad and to be honest, Tara played a huge part in my decision to move back home to Dublin. It helped me build a new community in this city and meet like-minded people, from the wonderful staff to the welcoming and interesting co-workers. We often have lunch together, hang out on the rooftop, go to the Tara events and have after-work pints which makes Tara so much more than a co-working office; it’s helped Dublin feel like home again.
