More about the artists:
Ashley Abbedeen is a singer-songwriter/guitarist for rock outfits hotgirl and Delivery Service. hotgirl, with 2 critically acclaimed EPs under their belt, have been playing internationally as well as getting support from the likes of Lambrini Girlz, Fat Dog, and The Libertines. Newer band Delivery Service have just released their debut single, and after grabbing the attention of music fans and critics alike, have been busy playing shows, honing their sound and recording music featured regularly in their set.
Clara Tracey is originally from Co. Fermanagh. Clara fell in love with the piano as a child but it was only after moving to Paris in her early twenties that she discovered her passion for songwriting. Her first performances took place in intimate jazz cafes and a sultry, old world romanticism still inspires her sound, which continues to evolve through a constant exploration of synthesisers and psych-orchestral textures. Clara’s lyrics and soundscapes draw subtle cues from her artistic heroes and heroines in cinema, art and literature, from Harry Clarke and Lotte Reiniger to Jane Birkin and Colette. Her critically acclaimed debut album “Black Forest” won the public vote for album of the year in the NI Music Prize 2023.
We’re delighted to have a Clothes Swap Pop-Up run by The Sustainable Life School for this event. Founded by Nathalie and Diane, the School runs workshops and initiatives that empower people to live more sustainably – from food and fashion to everyday habits..
