A roundup of what’s happening in the building this month
As the days get a little brighter, so do things around Tara. We’ve got a handful of easygoing gatherings, thoughtful chats, and chances to soak up the good vibes with the community. If you’re around, pop by—everyone’s welcome.
Here’s what’s coming up:
🎭 Angst from the Archives – May 8th, 7pm
A soft spot for teenage drama? Us too. Join us for an evening of shared diary entries, letters, and angsty blasts from the past. Always heartfelt, always fun.
🥐 Blackpitts Bakery Morning – May 9th, 10am
We’ll have some fresh pastries in the kitchen for a low-key start to the day. Come grab something tasty and catch up with your neighbours.
🛍️ Quirk Market – May 11th, 12–5pm
Our Sunday market is back! Vintage finds, local makers, and good tunes—it’s a lovely way to spend a few hours.
🧠 Morsels of Meaning – May 14th, 12–1pm
A quiet lunchtime session to explore themes around purpose, creativity, and meaning in everyday life. Simple, thoughtful, and open to all.
🌱 Sustainable Social Club – May 20th, 1–2pm
Drop in for some honest chats about sustainability, business, and small changes that can make a difference. Casual, conversational, and welcoming.
☀️ Summer Session – May 22nd, 6.30–10pm
An easy evening hangout to celebrate the longer days. Hopefully on the rooftop, weather depending—music, chats, maybe a drink or two.
🧘♀️ Yoga – May 28th, 5.45–6.45pm
A gentle midweek unwind. No need to be a pro—just bring yourself and stretch it all out.
🎤 CreativeMornings – May 30th, 8am
Start your day with some inspiration. Free coffee, a great talk, and a kind little community to connect with.
That’s the plan for now. Keep an eye out for updates and more pop-up moments throughout the month. If you’re curious about joining the Tara community, you can always find out more here or on our socials, Instagram & Lindekin
Hope to see you around 🌿
