Join Little Eden Terrariums for an evening of Terrarium-making at the gorgeous Tara Building!
You’ll learn all about terrariums – how these self-contained ecosystems came to be, how they survive on their own, the different types of plants (and insects) that can thrive in terrariums, and some of our special terrarium-making ingredients. Then it’s up to you to roll up your sleeves and build your own terrarium!
All the equipment will be provided, including tools to landscape your mini ecosystem, a glass vessel (H30cm W12cm) with a cork lid, a variety of plants, mosses, and decorative pebbles. We’ll also be using special tools to landscape your creation. You are welcome to bring along any small rocks or miniature figurines to incorporate as part of your miniature landscape – just be sure they’ll fit in a standard bottle opening, and sterilize them beforehand.
At the end of the workshop, you get to take away your creation with you!
