Tell us a bit about yourself and what you do:

I’m originally from Co. Cavan and I recently moved to West Clare. I’ve been a proud Tara member since day one and work from there twice per month. My work covers the areas of leadership, community empowerment, and wellbeing. I work mostly with charities, companies and individuals who are passionate about making a positive difference in the world. This includes coaching, mentoring, consultancy, campaigning, writing, speaking and hosting my Love and Courage podcast. I founded the SpunOut.ie youth organisation back in 2005 and was CEO there until late 2011. I was also part of the founding team behind Uplift, among other organisations, initiatives and campaigns. In 2012 I was appointed for a 7 year term to the Council of State by President Michael D Higgins.

What is your favourite fail?:

Once upon of time I used to say ‘part of the course’ regularly until someone pointed out that the phrase is actually ‘par for the course’.
