Tell us a bit about yourself and what you do.
Hi there! I’m Daire and I’m a motion graphics designer. I’ve been freelancing full-time for nearly two years now after spending a few years working in house in different places as a video editor/photographer/general design dude. Decided to focus solely on motion graphics simply because I really love it. I’ve been in The Tara Building for over a year now.
I work with 2D illustrations, imagery, and video to make short animations and GIFs for businesses to use online. Think Facebook Ads and Instagram Stories

What is your favourite fail?
I purposely didn’t finish my last big animation project in college as I hated* animation then. I even had the last scene only have text on screen explaining why I didn’t finish it and asking/pegging for the 10% (out of a possible 50%) in order to pass the course. Cut to a few years later… Moral of the story? Sometimes even you don’t know what you like until later in life.
