I’m an actress and screenwriter. I’ve worked on over 22 films, 4 TV Series’ & numerous ad campaigns. My short film Sparkle was funded through Screen Ireland. I wrote, co-produced, and acted in it and it has started on the festival circuit. I love comedy and have recently set up my own production company Shine Bright Productions to explore female-led stories and amplify working class voices on screen.

I started rollerskating a couple of years ago & naively thought this looks so easy, sure I did it when I was a kid. Cut to me holding onto the walls of the roller rink like someone about to be dragged into an alligator pit if I let go. It was a fail for a very long time but I stuck at it and 2 years later I can skate backwards. I should add it took my then 13-year-old son two weeks to go backwards – but I failed, I got up, I failed I went again & again and again. And now I can skate.

I was also the green M & M in the St Patrick’s Day parade which was an epic failure as I fell and couldn’t get back up as I was in a gigantic M & M suit. So I lay there in the rain legs and arms flailing like a beetle on its back. The Glamour.
